DIRECTIONS to the Tall Cedars Picnic Grove
245 Sawmill Road, Hamilton Township 08620
Traveling South on South Broad St. from Trenton, continue straight to the end of
Broad St. (You stay to the right at the Yardville Bank.) Bear left at the yield
sign, go about 200 yards, and turn right onto Sawmill Rd. Continue about 1 ¼
miles to the Picnic Grove on the right.
Coming from I-295, you get off at Exit 60 and take I-195 East to the Broad
Street (Yardville) exit and follow the above directions.
Coming North on Route 130, turn right onto Ward Ave at Bordentown (Chickie’s &
Pete’s Cafe on corner) and continue on Ward Ave. into Crosswicks. At the stop
sign turn left onto Church St and go down the hill and across the creek. Turn
right after crossing the bridge onto Old York Rd. Then make the first right onto
Sawmill Rd and go about 1¼ miles to the Picnic Grove.
Coming South on Route 130, make left turn at Crosswicks-Hamilton Square Rd. (You
need to take a jughandle in front of the Home Depot.) Go through the first
traffic light (Yardville-Allentown Rd), under the turnpike, and turn left at the
first intersection onto South Broad Street. Follow Broad St until it ends at the
yield sign. Bear left and then take first right onto Sawmill Rd. Picnic Grove is
1 ¼ miles on the right.
Traveling South on the NJ Turnpike: Get off at Exit 7A and take route I-195 West
to Route 130 and follow the directions from Route 130 South.
Traveling North on the NJ Turnpike: Get off at Exit 7 and take Route 206 North
to where it joins with Route 130 and then follow directions from Route 130
North.
